Short answer: Yes!
Good answer: Business cards, like all parts of "business equipment", are a figurehead for the company. The more uniform (and the more unusual) your "figureheads" are, the more firmly your company can be anchored in the minds of your customers. And, yes, that is still the case today! To be able to give your customer something valuable and extraordinary in their hands is still great in the digital age.
